Multiple departments across campus came together under one roof to function more cohesively and efficiently.

  • New shared home for Facilities Administration, Custodial, and Construction departments within the existing Service Center facility
  • Project included offices for each department, along with shared support spaces including conference rooms, break area, work room, and new ADA compliant toilet rooms
  • Design team reconciled various floor elevations and multiple bearing walls within the building to create an efficient floor plan
  • New finishes throughout including ACT ceilings, carpet tile, paint, and vinyl base
  • Updated mechanical system and lighting along with added power and data receptacles throughout the facility
  • Improved exterior envelope with added insulation, new windows/doors, and new roofing
  • Project came in under budget allowing USD to award some alternates including a new fire alarm
