Infection Control/Pandemic Preparedness Unit/Specialty Clinic
Keeping healthcare services close to the Stanley community and surrounding areas, this addition provides a specialty clinic for smaller procedures and same day surgeries, and a separate wing unit to the hospital for infection control.
Due to site restrictions on the medical campus, EAPC’s careful planning provided solutions to include the new specialty clinic addition while maintaining proper circulation paths for patients and staff within the existing campus facilities. These paths separate the public from semi-restricted and restricted spaces. Given the residential proximity and construction logistics of the new addition, EAPC is working with the hospital to ensure continuity of services.
This project:
- provides clinic space with exam rooms, OR suite, and all support spaces
- provides infection control/pandemic unit with three dedicated rooms inside the OR suite
- includes a rooftop helipad
