EAPC welcomes Project Designer Kirsten Spaude to our Phoenix office.
Kirsten earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from North Dakota State University in 2022, and recently graduated from NDSU with her Master of Architecture. She is also a LEED Green Associate.
While in school, she was an intern at Artekta Architects in Fargo, ND where she gained experience in multi-family residential and industrial designs.
After graduation Kirsten decided she wanted a change in scenery, making the move from Fargo, North Dakota to Phoenix, Arizona. After touring EAPC’s office and meeting with Phoenix office manager Eli Valdez, Kirsten says it felt like the right fit.
“I just know the move [to Phoenix] was such a good decision for me.”
Kirsten’s passion is in Healthcare, having worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in high school. She says her experience working in nursing homes showed her there is a lot of work to be done when it comes to how architecture and interior design can impact the comfort of senior patients, and she looks forward to being part of that change.
Kirsten is an advocate for volunteer work. Some of her favorite experiences have been volunteering with Meals on Wheels and Feed My Starving Children. She hopes to continue that work at EAPC and in her new community.
In her spare time, Kirsten enjoys socializing with her friends and spending time with her family. Kirsten considers herself an avid traveler and has a goal to explore her new community in Arizona as many weekends as she can. She also enjoys drawing, painting, and reading.
