We are pleased to welcome Jerick Hedges, PE to our Minot office as a Mechanical Engineer.

Jerick is a graduate of North Dakota State University and is a member of Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). He is also a member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), is a registered professional engineer for the state of North Dakota, and obtains a Lean Bronze Certification.

Jerick worked as a civilian Mechanical Engineer for the Air Force under 5th Bomb Wing in Minot, ND, where he developed and managed construction improvement and sustainment projects for the Minuteman lll Missile sites. Awarded with a promotion, Jerick began working as the Construction, Surveillance, and Inspection Chief where he acted as a government representative in business dealings with project contractors and supervised seven construction inspectors while coordinating construction projects. Since November 2021, Jerick has worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the Air National Guard as an HVAC expert where he reviewed all HVAC, plumbing, and controls design drawings and specifications for new build and renovation projects at Air National Guard bases around the country.

As the only base in the country to house two of the three legs of the nuclear triad, Minot is a critical piece in our nation’s nuclear deterrent policy. Jerick says there is a sense of pride working for the Air Force.

Because of a lot of diversity, I was able to gain a worldly perspective and meet some high caliber people. Also, being in a position to keep people safe is a mission that is like no other.

Jerick says he enjoyed his time working for the government, but now looks ahead to this new journey at EAPC. “I’m very excited to work in the commercial design realm and have this opportunity to grow and collaborate with my fellow engineers.”

In addition to family, Jerick says he loves the outdoors, hunting, 4-wheeling, watching football (NDSU Bison and Minnesota Vikings fan), lake life, and building things for his kids.

Welcome to EAPC, Jerick!
