EAPC is providing mechanical and electrical commissioning services for Trinity Health’s New Replacement Campus in Minot, ND. The new campus, scheduled to be completed in December 2020, will consist of a medical office building (approximately 195,000 GSF), hospital with 212 beds, 16 operating rooms, and 10 imaging suites (approximately 743,000 GSF), and central utility plant (approximately 32,000 GSF).

The objective of system commissioning is to guide the process of quality control and quality assurance by implementing elements of the major components of commissioning:

  • Define, coordinate, review, communicate, and provide documentation to substantiate both design intent and system integrity.
  • Observe, evaluate, identify deficiencies, recommend modifications, and document system and equipment performance over a range of load, performance, and functional levels.
  • Make certain operation and maintenance staff is well-versed in all aspects of operation and maintenance of building systems to maintain an appropriate level of serviceability and functionality.
