United Hospital, the largest hospital in the Twin Cities east metro area, provides a full range of health care and is recognized nationally and locally for its expertise and care. United Hospital serves more than 200,000 patients and their families each year.

The Elaine S. Larson Center of United Hospital provides surgical services for the community and is now remodeling their surgery waiting area. This renovation project includes increased seating for guests and families, improved consulting spaces, and a fresh new palette of finishes and furniture. The new furniture will have multiple types of seating, from comfortable lounge seating, to tables and chairs, to computer workstations. Accommodations have been integrated into the seating and end tables to charge phones and tablets at chairside with USB outlets. New LED lighting systems have been designed to provide a warm and comfortable environment. A new fireplace feature element has been designed to bring comfort and ease the anxiety of those who will be using this space. New circular LED pendants and a soothing full height woodland graphic image help complete this surgical waiting area.
