This project added seven new exam rooms to the emergency room suite at the downtown Sanford campus in Fargo. These rooms are fully equipped to sedate and treat patients 24/7. Triage and the in-take Process are isolated to provide a smoother transition from the moment a patient enters the ER. The two nurse stations were relocated and restructured to provide better access and visual observation to the exam rooms. Staff offices, locker rooms and lounge were segregated from the ER to provide more private downtime from demanding ER activities.
