To better serve their clients, RDO wanted to expand their shop areas and parts storage while also improving the working environment of their employees with an overall update to their entire facility.
Addition includes shop area, breakroom, lockers and bathrooms
Renovation includes new offices, conference rooms, showroom, bathrooms, and parts storage
Open and inviting front entry and showroom for clients; highly visible reception desk to greet clients
Added more space to showroom by opening up the existing back room to the front
Building is specifically used for the sale, support and maintenance of heavy machinery
Glazed overhead doors installed to provide ample light to service bays and improve energy efficiency
New shop includes overhead bridges cranes to greatly improve overall efficiency
EAPC worked closely with the owner and contractor to design a facility that met both the needs of the user and the budget; the connection of the addition to the existing shop was carefully studied to ensure that personnel and equipment could move back and forth while also fitting onto the site in a way that provided appropriate circulation for vehicles
