Having sat vacant for 13 years, this previous service station was repurposed into a quaint gourmet hot dog shop.

Open from April to November, the shop features a walk-up order window and an outdoor wall menu. The small building includes a food prep area, dish washing area with a three-compartment sink, a janitorial space for the mop sink and water heater, storage for products, and an ADA compliant, uni-sex bathroom. There is also a dining booth and counter seating for six. The facility was updated with all new windows as well as an insulated wood stud wall. A fence by the dumpster area shields off the north side of the building. All plumbing and HVAC was also redone.

“EAPC made our dream of opening a gourmet hot dog restaurant come true. Lucky Dogs is truly is a great addition to downtown Bemidji and a thriving business. Thanks to EAPC for their vision, expertise in working with local contractors, and for being attentive to our needs.”
