Altru Health System was looking to better meet the needs of the Crookston community and knew that the time had come to improve the functionality and expand their Crookston Clinic in order to improves access, offer more services, and allow patients to stay close to home to receive the services they need.
The renovations touch nearly every facet of the building including:
- Additional radiology services consisting of CT, mammography suite, and ultrasound
- Remodel and upgrade of clinic patient rooms plus addition of leading edge technology to improve patients’ experience
- Remodel and upgrade of primary care and specialty exam rooms, procedural space with on-stage, off-stage staff and patient areas
- Addition of leading edge technology Real-Time Location System (RTLS) used to provide immediate or real-time tracking and management of medical equipment, staff, and patients
- Same day procedure suites and operating room complete with private pre-op and post-recovery bays
- Relocation of infusion center and addition of two chairs and private bays
- Improvements and renovations to the main lobby reception and waiting, laboratory, physical, occupational, and speech therapy spaces
