This rural North Dakota school district is ready to provide hands on learning for their students with this new Vo-Ag Shop.
New shop space includes welding, carpentry, technology, and other trades to prepare students for high paying jobs in the oil and construction industries
Other important features include a classroom with locker space and a separate finishing room to keep fumes out of the learning spaces
Facility has been designed for a future greenhouse to enable Alexander Public School to add horticulture to the program
EAPC developed a plan for the shop on the school’s existing campus
Once the plan was developed with the superintendent and program instructor, the plan was refined to meet the estimated budget
The estimate numbers were determined in collaboration with a local construction manager to ensure confidence in the dollar amounts
While the facility is not directly connected to the existing school, it replaces aging buildings and takes advantage of existing parking and driving areas to provide ease of access
