Senior Architect

Leap is a Senior Architect, Managing Partner, and Operations Manager for EAPC’s Sioux Falls office. He has over 23 years of project experience for all phases of architectural practice including master planning, programming, design, estimating, and construction administration. As the Higher Education sector leader at EAPC, Leap manages many complex projects giving careful attention to details, design, and execution. Leap strives to develop and build a strong Client/Architect relationship from early design to post occupancy. Leap brings his many years of lessons learned and leads with a simple philosophy: “Learn from our mistakes. How we handle our mistakes defines who we are. We walk through challenges together and a stronger team emerges.”

Leap is an active Member of the AIA South Dakota and has been involved with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) North Dakota Chapter and the North Dakota Healthcare Engineering Society (NDHES). Leap was named Young Architect of the Year in 2009 by the North Dakota AIA, selected as one of the top 40 Under 40 Professional by Prairie Business Magazine in 2012, and nominated for the 2014 Building Design + Construction Magazine U40 Leadership Summit. Leap is a LEED Accredited Professional and is licensed in 5 states.
