EAPC Grand Forks Accounting Intern, Gabe Sandy recounts his “Badlands Bull Project” during a once-in-a-lifetime western North Dakota hunting opportunity.
Gabe is attending UND pursuing a degree in Accountancy and Managerial Finance and is on track to graduate spring 2019. He said he always liked math and numbers and he knew going into college that he wanted to get a business degree.
“I knew there were many opportunities in the accounting field and I thought it would be a good challenge with many future possibilities.”
Gabe began his internship with EAPC in April and said he enjoys creating the accounts payable invoices and scanning and entering previous projects.
“I look forward to applying the skills I am learning in the accounting program at UND and I hope to learn more about EAPC and do whatever is asked of me to help the team out. I want to learn something new every day.”
After college Gabe said he will study for the CPA exam and continue working in the accounting field. In the meantime, Gabe said he will tap in to his interests including fishing, hunting, being at the lake, attending concerts, and enjoying sports.
