Alan is the president and CEO of EAPC and also manages the firm’s Fargo, ND office. He is very aspirational and is esteemed by his employees, clients, and peers as a devoted and inspiring leader and teacher. He is known for the professionalism he displays with clients, his incredible knowledge of the trade, and his deep passion for providing excellent service.
Alan has a unique talent for design and a passionate devotion to his clients which has earned him numerous repeat projects throughout his career including design and project management in wellness/recreation, healthcare, education, government, and commercial work throughout the region. He is EAPC’s in-house Fire Station Design Expert and has personally provided design services for more than 20 fire stations across the region.
Every year, Alan oversees hundreds of projects and has experience in a wide variety of project deliveries including Design Build, Construction Management, Fast Track, and Project Phasing. Alan acts as Principal in Charge, Supervisor, and/or Project Manager on hundreds of EAPC projects every year. Although his involvement and time commitment in each of these projects varies, his ability to meet deadlines and daily demands for his input, expertise, and attention is remarkable.
