The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple projects as assigned by the Partner in Charge (PC), including interfacing with clients throughout all project phases or consultancy services. Within the daily management of multiple projects, the Project Manager is also expected to manage the direct and support resources involved in the assigned projects, as well as provide timely feedback to the PC regarding deadlines, workload, and staffing needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of projects to successful completion (e.g setting and maintaining design and construction schedules, managing projects to budget)
  • Day-to-day management of direct and support resources involved in the assigned projects (manage deadlines and budgetary constraints, provide feedback on quality of output, maintain quality control)
  • Manage customer relations and interfaces associated with assigned projects, including building potential for future business with current clients
  • Facilitate timely project coordination meetings with all disciplines and provide proper communication on project progress with direct report
  • Participate in the project budgeting process
  • Ensure the entry and integrity of all data into the Vision system for assigned projects
  • Participate in the development of contracts and fee proposals for assigned projects
  • Compile and edit bidding documents, including front end and technical specifications

Qualifications

  • Professional Degree in Architecture; Bachelor of Architecture acceptable, Master of Architecture preferred
  • AIA Licensure preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of project experience in a consulting or firm environment

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Working conditions are largely office-based. Travel may be required up to 20-30% of the work week. Must be willing to work in a construction site and/or outside environments. Position may require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations of approximately 10%, varying with workload.

Position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, and/or walking. Position may require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.
