EAPC’s Phoenix office is excited to welcome their newest Healthcare Studio Designer, Michelle Bach.

Michelle was born and raised in Omaha, NE, later moved to Wenatchee, WA during grade school and stayed through her college years, then moved to Phoenix in 2013 where she has resided since. In 2014, Michelle joined RKAA Architects, Inc. in Phoenix as an Architectural Designer/Planner. Her primary design focus was in regional and city planning, commercial retail, and tenant improvement.

At EAPC, Michelle’s new focus is healthcare design.

“I plan to learn as much about healthcare design and planning as I can. It has always been a design field I have been interested in.”

Michelle also desires to become a registered architect and will begin the first of her exams this Spring.

With the healthcare industry booming in Phoenix and the state of Arizona, Michelle said it is important to really differentiate ourselves from the competition. Michelle said seeking inspiration for great design is also important.

“I love traveling and I pick up most of my design inspiration from places I have visited. Other ideas come from articles I read.”

Michelle said she and her husband Glenn are big travelers around the world.

“We enjoy looking for the next country to explore.”

Michelle also enjoys baking and frequently experiments with new flavors of cupcakes topped with a design creation. And her favorite form of exercise?

“Swimming. I have been swimming since I was in grade school.”

Welcome to EAPC, Michelle!
