We congratulate Alex Naseth as he makes the jump from Student Intern to full time employee in our Fargo office.

Alex started his career at EAPC in the Summer of 2021 as a Student Intern. After graduating from North Dakota State University in December with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, he accepted a position with EAPC as a Mechanical Engineer.

“Alex has been helping us out for the last year and a half as an intern and we are glad to have him on board full time.  He has been a great addition to our team” – Jesse Sandry, Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager

Alex says he’s thankful for his time as an intern at EAPC, because he feels fully prepared to jump into the professional world. “I felt like I was way ahead of my peers. I was learning things hands-on instead of studying for hours.”

Alex’s favorite part of the job is anything to do with organizing data. He particularly enjoys making Excel spreadsheets of calculations for projects.

Alex is a big fan of the outdoors and all things adventurous. He even proposed to fiancée Mikayla on a recent trip to Colorado in one of the United States’ oldest climbing areas. Alex enjoys the thrill of physically demanding hobbies like rock climbing, backpacking, and mountaineering. “My ideal vacation is most people’s worst nightmare.”

In his first year as a full-time Mechanical Engineer, Alex says he’s most excited to learn about project management roles and how to lead a team.

“My advice to students is to figure out what type of engineering you want to do. They don’t really tell you about that in school.”

Congrats, Alex!
