EAPC is happy to welcome Construction Manager Nate Parent to our Bismarck office.

With more than 15 years in the industry, Nate has been involved in many projects both in North Dakota and in New Zealand. He’s worked on more than 150 residential family homes in the Bismarck-Mandan area, as well as projects like the Sunrise Professional Center in Bismarck and the Menoken Elementary School. Nate’s also worked on major commercial developments in New Zealand.

Nate earned his Carpentry and Construction Management Level 4 at the Building Construction Industry Training Organization in New Zealand. He later earned his B.S. in Business Management at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota.

At age five, Nate moved with his family from Colorado to New Zealand, where he lived for more than 20 years. He then moved back to the United States more than a decade ago and landed in the Bismarck-Mandan area where he says he plans to stay.

“I particularly enjoy contributing my skills and expertise for the benefit of my community and region.”

Nate says his most notable project was working as the Commercial Superintendent on the North Dakota Safety Council. The 22,000 square foot facility is the first of its kind in the state, with a 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art training facility. Nate even took safety courses there himself after the completion of the project.

“I feel strongly about construction safety. Being able to make an impact and provide a safe and secure job site is a satisfying feeling.”

In his free time, Nate enjoys putting his construction skills to use with DIY projects around his family’s hobby farm where they raise chickens and mules. He also enjoys mountain biking near Harmon Lake. Nate and his wife have three daughters. Now that they’re getting older, Nate says he would love to take his family to New Zealand for a family vacation.

Welcome to EAPC, Nate!
