We are pleased to welcome Emily Wolf to our Fargo office as an Electrical Engineer, EIT.

Emily earned her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Seattle University and began her career as a Rotational Program Engineer at Motorola’s Freescale Semiconductor in Austin, TX. Emily’s roles involved digital signal processing, automotive packaging, silicon fabrication research and DFT verification. After several years in silicon chip verification and bring-up, Emily switched to PowerPC core integration laying out chip designs.

Emily is excited to finally begin her journey with EAPC, after eyeing a position here since before the pandemic. She’s ready for new challenges in the unfamiliar realm of power engineering and construction following a career break to raise her sons. Emily is enjoying learning power terminology and new tools and says “I’ve learned more in my first week at EAPC than in the last 10 years!”. Emily is thrilled to be using her EE degree in her home state for the first time and is looking forward to working on impactful EAPC community projects. She aspires to get her PE license.

Emily’s favorite place is the farm where she was born and raised in Leeds, ND. Her husband Scott and four sons, ages 6 to 16, go there as often as possible to enjoy the country life. Emily loves animals, (especially Shar Pei), being outside, sewing, gardening, cooking and exploring local coffee shops. Most of the time, she is busy keeping up with her boy-mom duties including hockey, dance, music lessons, golf, tae-kwon-do and scouts.

Welcome to EAPC, Emily!
