We welcome Ismael Madrigal, PE to EAPC as a Structural Engineer in our Phoenix office.

Ismael earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education and is currently licensed in 18 states and 3 provinces in Canada. His career has included working as an Application Engineer for Halfen USA, Inc. where he provided structural calculations, submittals, and production drawings.

Ismael most currently worked as a Project Design Engineer for Larson Engineering where he provided clients with structural calculations for different building envelope systems, reviewed shop drawings, and provided clients with technical support.

Ismael was promoted into a Senior Project Manager position with Larson Engineering where his added responsibilities included mentoring junior engineers, peer review calculations, project proposals, and stamping and signing sets of calculations and shop drawings.

With his love for drawing and building, along with guidance from his high school counselor, Ismael knew engineering was the field to pursue as a career.

“Structural Engineering can be very rewarding when I get the opportunity to design buildings that help or change people’s lives. It is fascinating to know that I am part of other’s success.”

Some of Ismael’s hobbies include playing and refereeing soccer, reading, walking, bike riding, and listening to music. But his favorite activity may be playing checkers (Spanish rules) with his family. “It’s a game I grew up with and I would say I am a competitive player, both on an actual board and online.”

Welcome to EAPC Ismael!
