We are pleased to welcome Michael Clark, AIA as Director of Public Safety Design in our St. Paul office.

Mike has over 35 years of experience in the planning and design of facilities for civic clients across the United States and he will lead EAPC’s Civic sector.

“I am very excited to expand upon the great work EAPC has been doing in the Dakotas, particularly with their fire station design, and expand that success to include fire and police departments in Minnesota.”

Upon graduating from Ball State University, Mike began his career working primarily on municipal, education, worship, and retail projects. He later joined another firm where he was a Principal responsible for a branch office and staff producing a variety of project types including civic, public safety, correctional, educational, and retail. Eight years following, Mike began a career with DLR Group as a Project Manager and was responsible for the development of civic and justice related projects where he was involved from initial client contact through construction administration. He also was the lead for business development and marketing strategies in the civic and government market sectors.

Mike joined Five Bugles Design in 2015, serving as Senior Project Architect and Public Safety Specialist. Mike was responsible for developing a design practice in Minnesota based on his expertise in public safety building design. Prior to Joining EAPC, Mike was the Principal/Owner of AMC Public Safety Consulting offering consulting for underserved markets in station location studies, space need studies, facility assessments, capital improvement planning, facility pre-design studies, and architectural planning and design with a specialization in police and fire station design to clients nationwide.

We are so excited to bring Mike aboard! He has the experience and expertise to take our Public Safety sector to the next level. Mike is a very respected consultant and we know that his reputation and talents, with EAPC’s backup, will translate well to better serve our existing clients, and to open many doors to expand our market share. – Alan Dostert, EAPC CEO/President

He also enjoys swimming and listening to blues music. Mike and his wife Teresa have two grown children.

Welcome to EAPC, Mike!
