We are pleased to welcome Clay Carpenter, Mechanical Engineer, EIT to EAPC’s Bismarck office.

Clay received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University, graduating in November of 2020. In addition to his coursework, Clay spent the summer of 2019 interning for Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Salt Lake City as a Reliability Intern. Clay was able to work on a number of projects and aided a number of different groups including maintenance, tech services, and operations. In the summer of 2020, Clay again interned for Marathon Petroleum Corporation, this time at their Mandan, ND, refinery as a Maintenance/Reliability Intern. In this role, Clay worked in the Fixed Equipment group on several projects to improve refinery operations.

We are excited for Clay’s enthusiasm and what he brings to the Mechanical Engineering department and the team in Bismarck. Clay emphasizes,

“While college is a great way to build foundational knowledge for a specific field, it can only go so far towards acquiring the skills necessary to be a proficient worker. I am excited to learn from EAPC to hone my own skills and become a valuable asset for the company.”

In his spare time, Clay says he enjoys golfing and hiking and welcomes recommendations on the best fishing spots.

Welcome aboard, Clay!
