EAPC welcomes Amanda Carpenter to our Grand Forks office as a Student Intern for Human Resources.
Amanda will be assisting Rick Sandwick, HR Director, in a variety of areas, including writing job descriptions. Amanda was a student in Rick’s “Organizational Behavior” class Fall 2017 at UND. Amanda is a student at the university pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Human Resource Management and a minor in Leadership.
“I am interested in the training and development aspect of HR. I enjoy helping others grow and learn, especially when I can grow and learn as well.”
For the next semester, Amanda hopes to apply her education and previous internship experience to real world applications of Human Resources at EAPC.
“I am eager to learn about architecture and engineering, and how HR can benefit the industry.”
Amanda was the Vice President (fall 2017) for the Society for Human Resource Management Organization (SHRM) and was recently elected to President for spring 2018.
Her hobbies include organizing meetings and events for UND’s Student SHRM organization, traveling, biking, playing piano, and baking.
