Project
Altru Health System acquired the Rehab building located south of the hospital from the University of North Dakota. After abating the structure for asbestos, renovations began for projects listed on the facilities master plan. Per the master plan, the Orthopedic Department was moved from the lower level of the clinic to the main floor of the Altru Rehabilitation Center adjacent to the Orthotics and Prosthetics Department.
The project provided the additional space required for physicians and completed another building block for establishing the Muscular Skeletal master plan. Two X-ray rooms provided the need for orthopedics and all other departments within the building. Patient admitting also became part of this project providing better access as you enter the building. The building entry and main corridor finishes were updated to match the overall projects renovation.
EAPC services included master planning, programming, code analysis, architectural, interior design, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and cost estimating.
